Poetry Slam

On Thursday the 22nd of November, students participated in a poetry slam after school where they had the opportunity to perform their own, original poetry or recite, with feeling and gravitas, a memorised pre-existing poem.

A very entertaining poem about the woes of teaching was presented by Jenny Mangan accompanied by Jenny Li before the students began their performances. It was a fantastic night that showcased their many talents and skills. Emotions were stirred, fingers were clicking and poets were slamming.

Winners were awarded with gift cards from the school. A big congratulation to all girls who took part in the night! And a huge thank you to Jenny Mangan for creating such a successful night.
